Innovative Wellness Solutions

For twenty years, we’ve been providing employers with turnkey programs for a wide array of employee health services including wellness programs.

Our Innovative Wellness Solutions include:

  • Health Risk Assessments
  • Biometric Screenings
  • Vaccinations and other screenings
  • Incentive Solutions
  • Lifestyle Management Programs

Corporate Wellness allows you to focus on your core business; leaving us to focus on your employee health needs. You may schedule a single screening or we’ll work with you to put together a comprehensive package of wellness services. Your Corporate Wellness team will become a flexible extension of your own human resource department. Together, we can build a healthier, more productive workforce.

Health Risk Assessments

A health risk assessment (HRA) is often the first step in developing your company’s comprehensive wellness program. It is a detailed questionnaire that asks a series of questions about health and lifestyle. A confidential customized report, available only to the individual, provides detailed information about current health, lifestyle choices and the specific risks associated with them. There are many ways that HRAs can be administered including traditional paper questionnaires, online interactive versions, or, for large employee populations, via wellness kiosks installed at work sites.

Some HRAs require biometrics (cholesterol, blood pressure and body measurements) to allow for a more in-depth analysis of health status. Predictive modeling is also available which utilizes a complex mathematical algorithm to predict the costs that will be incurred from chronic diseases in your employee population over the next five years.

Corporate Wellness works closely with its clients to identify both the best assessment tools and best delivery methods.

Some of the HRA requirements that we’ll evaluate with you include:

  • Language(s) necessary
  • Reading comprehension level
  • Method of delivery (which may vary by location type, location size or job category)
  • Data integration (to coordinate with other wellness program components)
  • Reporting requirements (for individual and aggregate reports that are HIPAA and GINA compliant)

Corporate Wellness understands that no two clients are alike and that the needs of one of your locations may require a different solution than other sites. We’ll to present multiple options to you and help you make the right HRA decision for your workforce.

Biometric Screenings

Biometric screenings typically consist of cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index measurements. Used in conjunction with health risk assessments, biometric screening helps evaluate personal risk for chronic illness. Aggregate data (with no confidential employee specific information) helps you to understand which other wellness programs will provide the highest return on investment towards reducing your overall health costs.

Employers face many challenges when scheduling screening events including:

  • Deciding what screenings to offer
  • Ensuring privacy
  • Scheduling shift employees
  • Providing similar services to employees who may be geographically dispersed
  • Ensuring screenings follow best practices and are compliant with complex and varying state and federal regulations

Corporate Wellness seamlessly manages these and other challenges. We deliver screening services in all 50 states to nearly any size employee population. Our test menu includes all of the standard screenings (total cholesterol and cholesterol ratios, triglycerides, glucose, blood pressure and body mass index) . Corporate Wellness can also provide targeted screening services such as vision, cancer screenings and screenings specific to male and female employees.

How we do it is simple: Corporate Wellness has a dynamic network of biometric screening partners – all of whom operate under our clinical direction. Our team acts as the central coordinator for all aspects of each screening event. After we have contracted with you nationally, we communicate with each location - arranging scheduling, rollout communications and sign up resources. We coordinate staffing, supplies, shipping, directions, security clearance and medical waste removal. At the conclusion of your events, our staff conducts a thorough cleaning and returns your space to the way it was prior to their arrival.

Corporate Wellness also offers a unique solution for remote locations or small populations. While we do have home kits and laboratory patient service centers available, we’ve built a network of occupational health clinics to service our clients and their employees over the last twenty years. We direct your employees to a nearby occupational health clinic within our network to ensure that they receive the same screening services as their colleagues at larger sites. And just like an on-site screening, biometric screening data will be automatically uploaded to their HRA.

With a twenty-year track record for successful on-site and off-site wellness events, we are an industry leader in professional, creative and cost effective employee screening.

Incentive Solutions

Driving participation is essential to creating that culture of health in your work place. A well-designed Incentive Solution will help to motivate your employees to become and remain engaged in healthy activities and, through that process, make lifelong lifestyle changes.

Whether it’s a point-based system or gift cards, premium reductions or a combination selected from our comprehensive menu of incentive options, Corporate Wellness offers the widest menu of incentive solutions available. We understand that no two clients are alike and sometimes even a single client requires multiple solutions. We’ll help you choose from the most innovative and cost effective options available.

Our point-based system provides a platform for participants to track and monitor their progress. Each time a healthy activity is logged, points are awarded. Points can be redeemed for merchandise, gift cards or money. We can limit the merchandise to only healthy options or present thousands of options. Corporate Wellness can include your company logo or completely brand a point based system or gift cards. If a premium reduction award best fits your needs, we’ll help you design them in a way that maximizes their effectiveness.

The critical goals are increased participation and active engagement in the wellness programs being offered to your employees. We drive behavior changes which result in a happier, healthier and more productive team. Motivating your employees to enroll, participate, and stay engaged in healthy activities is a necessary step in creating your culture of health and Incentive Solutions are effective in helping achieve those critical goals.

Lifestyle Management

Lifestyle management programs offer employees the opportunity to develop healthier habits. Programs are conducted in the areas of nutrition, exercise, tobacco cessation stress and more. Millions of Americans struggle with weight loss. They repeatedly attempt to quit smoking or begin exercise regimes. Through lifestyle management programs, employers can offer creative and interactive activities to promote behavior modification; this results in more productive employees and lower health costs.

With so many options, employers often have difficulty in identifying what programs would best benefit their populations. Equally as important, they struggle in selecting programs employees will truly participate in. Challenges in Lifestyle Management program selection and design include:

  • Making programs easily accessible to all eligible participants
  • Encouraging the employees who need it the most enroll in the program
  • Scheduling events to minimize impact on workload
  • Ensuring that the participant stays actively engaged.
  • Quantifying the return on investment

Programs can be offered as:

  • Onsite one-on-one coaching
  • Telephonic programs
  • On-line coaching
  • Social networking
  • Team-based competitions
  • Workshops
  • Kiosks
  • Smartphone applications

Whether your focus is nutrition, exercise, tobacco cessation or stress management, Corporate Wellness provides you with a single resource to engage your employees in making healthy decisions.
